  • World Class Fitness in 100 Words

    "Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports".

What: ‘Clash on the Coast’

When: Saturday 5th Dec. 2009 (7.30am start)

Who: All level of CrossFit Athletes

How Much: $30.00 per athlete (includes a t-shirt)

Format: Clash on the Coast will consist of two WOD’s and a final.  The top 5 men and women will compete in the final.  Only athletes who have completed the WOD’s as rx’d will be eligible for the final.  Expect to see a variety of modal domains with scaling and substitution encouraged for those unable to participate as rx’d.

Prizes: 1st Prize for the top male and female competitor as well ‘The spirit of the games award’ will be a 3 night stay in a three bedroom appartment the Grand Mercure,  Twin Waters on the Sunshine Coast.

Second Prize for male and female is a family pass to Australia Zoo.

Third Prize is an $80.00 voucher for Workout World (at Kawana) and an assortment of goodies from Locker Room.

Payment: In order for the day to run smoothly we are requesting that entrants register and make payment ($30.00 including a t-shirt) by the 27th November 2009.  Payment can be made in person at the box or by electronic funds transfer to:   Coastal CrossFit QLD | BSB: 484-799 | Account Number: 015091527 (use your surname as a reference)

Indemnity Form: Please download and bring your completed Indemnity with you on the day.  Please note that the indemnity form must be completed in full, signed and witnessed.
