  • Who is CrossFit for?

"The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience".

CrossFit "delivers a fitness that is by design, broad, general and inclusive. Our specialty is not specialising. Combat, survival, many sports and life reward this kind of Fitness". (Coach Glassman, CrossFit Co-Founder)
  • World Class Fitness in 100 Words

"Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports".

Apologies for the late post today.  So many people logged onto our site today that it exceeded our bandwidth and caused a minor meltdown.  (this is a good thing, I guess)

Nice form on the KTE’s Sue and well done on the Rx’d.

Gutsy effort finishing that Penny, well done. You too Glen. Everyone really!! That wasn’t a nice WoD!

Chris great to have a 5am class this morning. Thanks for trialling it.

    • Maren says:

Rach, this morning I realised why you are an olympic athlete. I don’t know how you got through that SO QUICK!!! Well done I wish I could have sat and watched it!

Penny, great work…that was a real killer!

Sue, Great KTE’s!!! Hope your hands are still ion one piece…we need you for Saturday!

  3. Glen says:

Agree about the 5am start Chris, thanks very much for trialling this. While it’s much harder to wake up, it is great to be able to have an hour between the workout and work.

How frustrating is it when the pain is from skin rather than muscles? You just want to string reps together, but your hands won’t let you.

  4. sue says:

Rach and Maren thanks, not too sure if I like the pic. Maren don’t worry my hands are still in one piece I went with the gloves today, thanks for the tip when I got there.
Rach, what can I say Maren is so right, you simply reign supreme! I am blown away by your time, I wish I could have watched to. Nice work on a not so nice WoD!

Hi all, i’m one of drummonds old workmates. Thought i’d start posting my times as a bit of a self motivator. Also, i’m going to spectate ‘the clash’ this weekend. Looking forward to watching the fire breathers throw down.

Precious Doc! When i was only thinking about that there’s very much absolutely wrong material within the subject matter and yourself only replaced my personal advice. Appreciate your sharing an enjoyable guide….

  7. Very Nice Post…

This has definitely sparked up an idea in my mind. This really is a wonderful weblog article….
