  • Who is CrossFit for?

"The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience".

CrossFit "delivers a fitness that is by design, broad, general and inclusive. Our specialty is not specialising. Combat, survival, many sports and life reward this kind of Fitness". (Coach Glassman, CrossFit Co-Founder)
  • World Class Fitness in 100 Words

"Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports".

Hey Rach thanks for your comments on Saturdays WOD and for your assistance this morning. I realize I am being extremely impatient with regard to my injury but slow and steady is not how I like to train, however I am learning that I do need to limit myself momentarily,in my frustration I tend to forget those magic words “please”and “thank you” my apologies, I will endeavour to not be so distracted. See you tomorrow!!!!!

  3. StephenB says:

Good effort Glen – it will be interesting to see how far you go with correct technique.

Rach – thanks once again for the tips..

  4. Glen says:

Sue, the Crossfit box is no place for “please” and “thank you”… That’s how injuries occur…

  5. sue says:

Hi Glen, Could you “please”give Stephens kip back?

    • Glen says:

Not a chance… He only has to lift like 50kg, he doesn’t need a kip!!

So can you explain these “distractions” Sue, or are these up there with the “M” Place?

  6. sue says:

    Hi Glennie,

Nice try there is no way I am letting you in on the “M”place that is highly confidential, secret girls business, however I think Stephen is having a visit there tomorrow but I’m sure Maren will be blindfolding him first, won’t you Maren?
Back to my distraction, just focusing too much on what I can’t achieve instead of what I can do, see you im the morning Glen!!!!!
