  • Who is CrossFit for?

"The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience".

CrossFit "delivers a fitness that is by design, broad, general and inclusive. Our specialty is not specialising. Combat, survival, many sports and life reward this kind of Fitness". (Coach Glassman, CrossFit Co-Founder)
  • World Class Fitness in 100 Words

"Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports".

Great job this morning with the rxd’s Rach & Stephen… Maren, I’m sure you were only a couple of reps off.

Rest day for us today, but will hit it hard tomorrow… Crossfit NY did “Stephen” today… Named after our Stephen B of course…

    30-25-20-15-10-5 rep rounds of:
    GHD sit-up
    Back extension
    Knees to elbow
    95 pound Stiff legged deadlift

    All the best guys…

    • Maren says:

Hey Glen & Michelle…Great to hear from you guys…sounds like a “mean” workout a bit like some “LADY” we had this morning…I was still 1 thruster and 9 pull ups away…so not too good…man my hands hurt! I can’t get enough of my African Muti on them!!!

    • Great to hear from you guys. Please keep us up to date with your travels and remember we want some photos of you guys showing those Yanks how to do it. Chris.

      • Rach V says:

        Hey Glen!

Great to hear from you. What a fantastic opportunity to train in some amazing boxes. Enjoy! Hit it hard tomorrow and travel safe. Do you know… in all the time I’ve been doing CF (not quite a year) I have never had the opportunity to do Fran Rx’d. My patients first up loved the fact my hands didn’t have much strength!!! Wow! I wasn’t expecting it to blow my grip out like that!

  3. StephenB says:

Hi Glen, Give it “horns” over there!! Enjoy and see you in a couple of weeks.

  4. Maren says:

Great work tonight guys…it was great to sit and WATCH for a change!!!

  5. Awesome effort Sue. Very inspiring!
    Marie.

  6. sue says:

Thanks for that girls and thanks heaps for your support last night Deneice, Maren and Penny. Geez I felt sick, but pretty chuffed with that result. Penny the pull ups aren’t too far off not when you’re that determined.
Good job everyone it was a really pumped atmosphere in there last night.
