  • Who is CrossFit for?

"The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience".

CrossFit "delivers a fitness that is by design, broad, general and inclusive. Our specialty is not specialising. Combat, survival, many sports and life reward this kind of Fitness". (Coach Glassman, CrossFit Co-Founder)
  • World Class Fitness in 100 Words

"Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports".

  2. Rach V says:

Wow! Great times Chris and Marie!

I would be keen to trial a 5am for a while. I won’t ever be able to make Friday am’s tho – well more often than not any way.

And Chris – I don’t think that max rep chin up attempt deserves to be counted!

  3. sue says:

Hey morning crew double unders sure are looking good, Stephen great time, perhaps you could give me a few skipping lessons, you have earnt your cheesecake!

Rach love the speed of those sit ups are you sure your not one of those fire breathers you were telling me about?

  4. sue says:

Rach don”t be so soft of course Chris is going to count it , there is no chalk out in the real world.

  5. Rach V says:

hmmm, true Sue but out in the real world if I was running away from something and needed to do a functional chinup to pull myself onto something I’d be hoping that I’d make it the first time – not have to have 22 attempts!

And no… I am a LONG way from fire breathing status but I’ll race you there!

  6. sue says:

hmmm, I will think about the race but you will definitely need to work on your running Rach.

  7. StephenB says:

Good effort today Rach – it counts!!

Marie – your efforts are astonishing!

Chris – i’d be happy to trial a 5am start a couple of times per week. Would a 5.15am start with a slight overlap with the 6am crew work?
