  • World Class Fitness in 100 Words

    "Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports".

Nutrition Presentation: This Thursday at 6.00pm we will be hosting a nutritional presentation.  This presentation is aimed at all levels of CrossFitters and will cover topics such as balancing macro-nutrients, pre and post workout nutrition, weight loss and weight gain.  If you are keen to do the WOD, please attend another session.

Competition: CrossFit Brisbane is hosting the Again Faster-Hardn’up Challenge on the 11-12th of Feb.  This event includes the option to compete as an individual, as part of a team or in a Weightlifting competition.  If you are a little daunted by the prospect of competing as an individual, why not get a team together.  This competition will sell out fast, so if you are keen – do not delay.  CFB always host a great competition and with some well known CrossFitters from the USA heading over it is sure to attract some top Aussie talent.  Lets get a crew together for this one – it will be a good hit out before the CrossFit Open starts on the 22nd of Feb.
