Coastal CrossFit Re-Open for Business – 2010

Monday, January 4th, 2010

Welcome back!  We are open again for the new year and we have some exciting plans to help boost your performances.  We have been busy over the break working on some strategies to help everyone get the most out of their training at Coastal CrossFit QLD.

Goal Setting: Goal setting is important and we want you to be actively working towards a monthly goal.  This goal should be aimed at improving a major weakness.  We have set up a white board for you to write up your goals and we want everyone to use it.  It doesn’t matter how trivial that goal may seem; so long as it is aimed at improving your athletic ability in a measurable manner.

Attendance Tracking:  Each and every month, we are going to post statistical data about your attendance.  This information will be posted publicly in the box so that you can see in black and white the cold hard facts in relation to overall attendance for the  month as well as your consistency from week to week.  This initiative is aimed at improving the consistency of your training as well as helping people better manage their personal life/training schedule.  Posting the information publicly will allow you to compare to your peers.

Nutritional Seminar/Challenge: Next Monday (11th Jan 10) we will be conducting a Nutritional Seminar in place of both the AM and PM classes.  This seminar will be aimed at the basics of good nutrition and will also mark the start of a 6 week paleo/zone challenge.  We encourage everyone to attend.  We know that for many of you, the next major step towards better performances lies outside of the training environment and we want to help you better understand how important the nutritional side of this is.

Tell Your Friends! :  At Coastal CrossFit QLD we rely on providing quality training to grow our business and the best compliment you can give us is to tell your friends.  If you know of someone who you think may have the CrossFit Spirit and have wanted them to come along, then January is the month to tap into that new years enthusiasm.  All you/they need to do is give us a call and we will organise a suitable session for them to attend.
